We urgently need a new approach to our oceans

The future of our planet is directly linked to the health of our oceans. Unfortunately, our oceans are facing multiple challenges where we urgently need new approaches. With a sustainable use of ocean resources, the blue economy has the potential to create great value and improve livelihoods, while improving ecosystem health and preserve the oceans.

Collective impact

United Nations Decade of Ocean Sciences for Sustainable Development

The United Nations has proclaimed a Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) to support efforts to reverse the cycle of decline in ocean health and gather ocean stakeholders worldwide behind one common framework for sustainable development of the oceans.

OC Day
