Ocean Collective accelerates its sustainable blue food company group by acquiring Kosterfiskar’n
The newly formed Swedish industrial group, Ocean Collective, is now taking the next step to accelerate the transition towards more sustainable seafood by acquiring the family business Kosterfiskarn’s Delikatesser Stockholm-Mälardalen AB.
Ocean Collective is acquiring the entire company, Kosterfiskarn’s Delikatesser Stockholm-Mälardalen AB, as well as one-third of the shares in Kosterfiskarn AB. The company will continue to operate independently, based in northern Stockholm, and all staff will remain as before.
“We are very pleased to take this strategically important step to strengthen our commercial capabilities in the Swedish market. We have great respect for the strong market position that Tord and Karina, together with their staff, have built up over many years,” says Jörgen Bergqvist, CEO and co-founder of Ocean Collective.
Kosterfiskarn’s will be part of the group of companies alongside Korshags Food AB and Ocean Next AB, with the group led by a joint and newly established management team.
