Ocean Collective appoints Sofia Ek as CMO to accelerate its global brand and impact strategy
Ocean Collective, the newly formed Swedish industrial group whose mission is to change humanity’s relationship with our oceans and accelerate new sustainable solutions, today announces the appointment of Sofia Ek as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). With her extensive experience from world-leading global consumer brands, Sofia Ek will lead the development of Ocean Collective’s brand, marketing, and communication strategies to accelerate the company’s ambition to bring sustainable blue food to the world.
Sofia Ek joins Ocean Collective from her role as Vice President of Marketing at a leading Nordic consumer brand, where she was responsible for brand strategy, consumer marketing, and product innovation across multiple markets.

In her role as CMO, Sofia will lead the company’s brand strategy and consumer activation efforts across all markets and business areas, and further develop Ocean Collective’s communications to engage and inspire new audiences around the world.
